Did you see me in TV?

HOLA!!!
Whew... week one in this transfer already over. wow... Time is really fast! AND I have 7 months in the mission!! NO! Everyones starting to ask me how much time I have left in my mission and not how much time I have... when did that change?!

This week was a week of patience. Oh how I hate that word. I'm not sure where our investigators went, but they clearly must be hiding. We had so much success the last two transfers... well kinda. and now... now Im not sure where everybodies at!! This week, my comp and I were walking for 6 hours without finding someone to teach... never in my mission here has that happened so far. Needless to say, alot of exercise and patience... hahaha The good thing is in all that walking we found new parts of our area, and ALMOST found where the Menonites live. We were following them but we lost them. Almost!!

And this week we were asked to be on tv. I literally didnt know what to say. The guy and his girlfriend were talking to us and he's like "Okay I'll go to your church. I want to learn more. And maybe you guys can do a segment in my show..." hahaha Im going to be FAMOUS! hahaha nope.. pretty sure we cant. I guess we´ll find out! hahaha

And one of our investigators. Dominga Pita... yeah her name is awesome. We invited her to be baptized and she said. I already have a baptism. And so we asked if it was with alot of water and the authority of God... and she said, Yeah, We were living in the country so we were baptized in a river... huh.. hahahaha But she asked what her kids need to do to have a baptism in our church..hahaha
I love working here. The days when we dont find anyone are just to help us learn haha but Im so grateful when we find someone with a desire to learn about God. Its not important if you already have a different religion. What we're teaching, you want to hear, because it will change your whole life. We are children of God, and He loves us. Theres nothing so simple or powerful as that.
And dont wait for the missionaries to help the work,
This week my branch did a activity White Storm where all the missionaries and the members went out to find the lost sheep and invite them to church the next day. Theres always a crazy amount of inactive members. And I saw hearts changed here. The people in this branch are excited to help... because missionaries are only in the area for a little bit but the members live and work here... literally its your brothers and sisters. ANd in Sunday, I saw the members doing practices in Relief Society in how to help the inactives and how to have a better visit in your visit teaching. I love that! Members really can change everything!!!
Love you all!! thank you for the emails and letters!!

Sitting in El Cielo....

So today is TRANSFERS!!!
Aaaaaaannnnndd.... the verdict is...
No more trio!! Awwww... I love my comps!!
Im once again in Metan 2! En el Cielo.... which just means I get to exercise again... climbing those hills. And one of my comps Hermana Martins is in Metan 1. Awww... And my other comp Hermana Liza is in Santiago, in Cabildo!! In my first area!! Awwww I miss her!! But Hermana Martins and I have big plans to freak out our new comps...
My new comp is Hermana Bello from Peru... Thats my second companion from Peru! And her trainer of the mission was Hermana Martins.. hahaha complicated! So unfortunately Im hermana mayor.... its more fun being hermana menor with less time in the mission and pretending you don't know whats happening.. ahh... ya fun!

This week... was a week of Mustaches. Not only did our District Leader pull out green mustaches and demand we take photos but I had pink mustaches and my comps and I had a mustache pizza ice cream party... anything to help the missionary work! ;) I really will miss my comps. But I know that every comp I have is for a reason and Im excited to start working in only one area

again!!
We found over 40 new investigators in this month and a half... SO.... Gotta keep working to keep them! hahaha The work here in Metan is crazy!!!

One of our inv. Lautaro.. He has 10 years, he always says he wants baptism but his mom no... so we talked to her. And she was just ragging on him and ragging on him saying she wants to see a big change in him before he can have a baptism. And then she said that he only wants to be baptized because its like a swimming pool... and because he wants the food afterwards. So when she left, we asked him if it was true... Yup... hahahaha Never ever have I heard someone wanting baptism because of the food. So Hermana Liza said that not every baptism has food, and the look of horror on his face... Needless to say... we need to explain baptism a little bit more to him. hahaha

Im excited for this next month and a half!! We've got a lot of work ahead of us. Between helping the members to help us, working with investigators, and just not dying of frusturation, well... like I said a lot of work to do. hahah and I love it!!

Hasta luego!!
Con mucho amor!!

ONE WEEK MOOOOOOORE:

Wow... So Conference really really is inspired. I don't think I shared this, but we had on of our investigators enter as Elder Bednar was talking. And shes waiting for Jesus to appear on a cloud to give her a answer about baptism. Well I think she saw her cloud... in Conference. As she sat down, the talk changed completely about baptism.. I love that we can listen to the inspiration and revelation of prophets of God.

Well... I might have only a week left here in Metan, but we're continuing to work so hard its impossible to stay awake in sacrament. hahahah

We saw alot of miracles this week. We talked to this family one time and the daughter 15 or 16 said she would go to church. So Sunday morning there she was, without anyone of her family. Waiting for us. How courageous. But... she ended up leaving sometime in YW... All I can say is please if you see someone you dont know in Sunday... please talk to them. Dont wait for an invitation or for anyone to tell you too but go talk to them. Because if we claim to be disicples of Christ... we've got to walk a ways in his shoes.. we've got to feel the love for our brothers and sisters. This girl Juliana... wow.. shes awesome. But if people dont feel God's love through us... what are we doing?

And Im getting down from my soap box to say that I love this area and these people. We have found SOOO many people and put so MANY dates for baptism for them that whoever is here the next transfer.. wow... Theres always people prepared for us.

Also I love my comps. One has resorted to putting paper towels on her feet and then putting them in plastic bags and putting them in her boots. When I hear the crinkle of the plastic when we're walking... I just die! hahahaa the ratchet life here in Argentina continues!
LOVE YOU ALL

No Amish allowed....

Well... darn you people in my branch! I had my hair up and a button down shirt and I kept hearing the calls of Amish throughout the hallways of the church.
 hahahah no. -_-

But besides that...
CONFERENCE!!!!
I hope you all watched it and just soaked it in!
I had the opportunity to not only watch in Spanish but English!! People love me here!! hahaha So I can tolerate the calls of Amish.
Wow... I just love that we get the opportunity to sustain and show our support to the Prophet. I know that he really is a man of God. He leads us and guides us and I know that if we listen, we can find a way to live with God again. I hope we never get tired of the opportunity to show our support and to listen to the Prophet of God.

This week was pretty hilarious... And now that its over... Im not really sure why. ahhaha I just know that I laughed my head off a lot this week.

I don't have much time, but I love this gospel. ANd just like Elder Holland said, Don't forget the revelation you recieved, don't forget the love of GOd you felt, and don't forget that YOU are a member of the Church of God. So start with a prayer and then get up. Youve got work to do.
LOVE YOU ALL
