Que Pasa Hombres?!
Only here do you see teenagers willingly studying, you hear hymns being sung everywhere and in every language, and you see people kneeling down praying all over. Only at the MTC do you hear sisters gargling hymns with their mouthwash every. single. night. Only here do you see 18 year old boys and 19 years girls being trusted with the Salvation of souls. To say it's pretty intense is an understatement.
And I LOVE it!!
It's so spiritual and intense. Half the time I want to cry because I feel the spirit so strong and the other half I want to squeeze the crap out of everybody and hug them to death, I love them so much!! But no can do, I think the Elders might literally die of shock. hahaha
Last night we had Elder Costa from the Presidency of the 70s come speak to us. He's "a convert and a sister missionary product" from Brazil, he told us. It was so amazing! Plus, he could be called as an Apostle this very weekend! I mean how cool would that be?!
So I tried to explain a little last time, but I'm losing my ability to write in English and it's only been a week. I can't spell anything write. It's a struggle. But anyhoo, mi companera es Hermana Jarvis. You can look her up on FB if anyone's curious. Jenna Jarvis. She's pretty much a freaking supermodel, and gets at least one to two packages a day here (no joke) and I pretty much freaking love her. Yeah, I would like to go to the bathroom alone without a shadow, but other than that, we really don't struggle at all with each other! hahaha We both have decided that we're together at this time for a reason, so we kinda have to be best friends, because we're literally stuck with each other and also we balance each other out. All I can say is that a lot of weird goes down in our room because it's just the two of us. Which is pretty fun!
Today is PDAY!!! YAY! New missionaries came today so we're not all so green! So we went to the Temple today which are the last two pics. We were there for a session at 7. So the last pic is of us walking to the Temple, and the one before that is of my lovely district. Minus two elders, because Elder Green and Elder Hawkes always disappear, but when we find them they're almost always do service and helping someone. I have a ton of pictures already, but I can only send a few at a time. I LOVED going through the Temple today. It was weird on Sunday when we were able to leave the MTC and walk around the Temple. It was only a few days after getting here and we saw the outside world for the first time! My companion lives ten minutes from the MTC, I thought she was going to bolt. hahaha
Anyways, sorry for the long email. Michael Ita said he wasn't going to read it if it was long. :P Punk.. hahahaha But I'm super happy here! Everybody said the food would suck, but I guess if you're allergic to anything at all, you get pretty amazing food. Keep that in mind peeps that are about to serve a mission. MTC food sucks, allergy free food = amazing!!! I've learned alot already here. I've learned to always start with the end in mind, to stop trying to get your companion to become like you, but you both try to become like the Savior. I've learned that God honestly really loves everyone and the way missionaries are successful is that you can't help but feel that love too. I've also learned that Heavenly Father needed my service, who knows why, but he does. He called me. The Lord doesn't send you out on a mission, he goes with you. And I've seen him carry me through this intensely crazy week. I've taught an investigator every day since the after I got here. And the fact that I have no idea what he's saying, but I know the questions he has in his heart is amazing. I have been here one week, and though I'm still not overly fond of skirts or spanish. I'm thinking that maybe, just maybe I've got this. JK I really don't, but Heavenly Father can use me.
I've come to love the title Hermana. I'm already sad thinking I will one day lose that title. When people call my companion or I Sister ___ we just want to say, "Uh, excuse me. I'm a hermana." I love this title and I never want to take off my name tag ever again. All the Elders that see our name tags say, "Hola Hermanas". Best feeling ever.
Love you all!!
Knowing that I don't have a Spanish keyboard I'm still going to bear my testimony.
Yo se que Jesucristo es el Salvador.
Yo se que Dios ama nosotros y nosotros Dios hijos.
Yo testifico que familias con importante y el Libro del Mormon es muy importante.
Oracion houra.
En el nombre de Jesucristo Amen.
Peace out mi amigos.

P.s.s mama can you add the emails to this list that I don't have. I know there's quite a few. or just forward it to them, and send me their email addresses. Gracias.
